Alison Post studies comparative political economy, focusing on the politics of urban and regional development. In particular, her research examines the politics of regulating urban infrastructure investment in Latin America. She will serve as a postdoctoral fellow with the Committee for Global Thought at Columbia University during the 2008-2009 academic year. Post will then become an Assistant Professor in the Global Metropolitan Studies program and Political Science Department at U.C. Berkeley in July of 2009. She will receive her Ph.D. in Government from Harvard University in 2008. As a Marshall Scholar, Post also earned an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She received her Bachelors degree in History from Stanford University.
