Adam Robbins

Adam B. Robbins graduated summa cum laude from Colby College with a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology. His honor’s thesis focused on the relationships between Philippine civil society and intergovernmental development institutions, and the global implications of their interactions. Adam spent his junior year of college abroad, studying anthropology at the Pontifica Universidad Católica del Ecuador and FLACSO-Ecuador, before traveling to Kenya to work with the communications department of the All Africa Conference of Churches. Following graduation from Colby, Adam interned with a human rights NGO in the Cordillera region of the Philippines for several months. Additionally, he has worked at Colby’s Oak Institute for International Human Rights and also received a fellowship from the University of Minnesota to support work at the Minneapolis-based Center for Victims of Torture.
