Charles Taylor: What is Enchantment?

Charles Taylor is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at McGill University. He has written extensively on cosmopolitanism, secularism, and political philosophy. Professor Taylor received the 2007 Templeton Prize and the 2008 Kyoto Prize. This lecture “A Secular Age” will be based on his 2007 book of the same name. Taylor will address the secular aspects of modernity and what characterizes life in contemporary secular society.
