Benedict Anderson is the Aaron L. Binenkorb Professor Emeritus of International Studies, Government, and Asian Studies at Cornell University. His seminal work is Imagined Communities, in which he historically contextualizes the construction of nationalism. He will speak on the subject of cosmopolitanism.
