Dealing with Debt: How to Reform the Global Financial System

Joseph Stiglitz gives an overview of the problems with the global financial system's bankruptcy procedures. He covers the role of the IMF in global market failures and the global reserve system. He suggests that a debt regime similar to Chapter 9 of the US bankruptcy code be established to deal with soverign debt.
